Terms & Conditions Of Hire
Formally Yours hires goods on the understanding that The Customer will return them in an undamaged condition and The Customer will be responsible for, and indemnify Formally Yours against, any loss or damage to the goods, at their current retail selling value, whilst they are on hire. (See our website FAQs for the up to date retail selling values of our garments) For the avoidance of doubt, The Customer is the person identified in the "Personal Details" section of the order, and not the person who may have paid for the order, or any other person who may be wearing the garments on the order. The Customer is therefore responsible for all the outfits on that order, whether they are wearing them or not, and their surname will be designated as the "Party Name" for that order, which may be quoted as a reference from time to time in any subsequent dealings between us after the order has been placed.
All outfits must be tried on for size, and any changes notified to us within 72 hours of them being delivered, to allow sufficient time to supply before the function date should the need arise. For last minute orders placed with less than 8 days notice to the function date, size changes must be notified as soon as possible after delivery to allow for items to be dispatched in sufficient time. Formally Yours will not be responsible for any loss suffered by a customer that could have been avoided by complying with the above. Size changes supplied after an order has been delivered, are charged at £5 per garment and £5 for each delivery address those changes have to be delivered to.
Should The Customer make changes to their order with less than 21 days notice to the function date, Formally Yours will reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £10.
In particular, where a change is made to a collection address(es), The Customer will provide at least 5 calendar days notice. If the failure to provide this causes the collection to be delayed for a further day, or days, then The Customer will be liable for the normal late returns fees for that day, or days. In addition, if we have to arrange a further visit(s) from our carrier in order to collect late items, then each address visit will be charged at £15 also.
Late returns will be charged at £15.00 per person's outfit, or person's part-outfit, per day.
Suit covers and hangers are loaned at no extra cost, but are subject to a surcharge of £5.00 each if not returned, or returned damaged.
All stock is hired subject to availability.
Formally Yours' liability in any event is limited to the order value paid.
If you cancel your order, or even part of your order, any time prior to its dispatch, then you will be entitled to receive a full refund for whatever you have cancelled.
If your cancellation is made after the order has been dispatched, then you are not eligible for any refund at all.
All notices of cancellation, part-order or otherwise, must be made in the first instance by telephone. You will need to keep a record of the cancellation number issued, as evidence of the cancellation being made, and to confirm your entitlement to any refund due.
